Countermeasures of Strengthening Practical Teaching in Civil Engineering Majors in Higher Vocational Colleges

Abstract

With the rapid development of China’s economy, higher vocational colleges continue to expand the enrollment scale, resulting in the shortage of teachers and the imperfect construction of practical training facilities. Under this background, higher requirements are put forward for the training of talents. Practical teaching has become an important direction in the current education research field, so as to cultivate high-quality, high professional and high-tech high-quality talents. Based on the analysis of some problems and deficiencies in the civil engineering specialty of higher vocational colleges, and combined with the actual situation, this paper discusses and summarizes the problems and deficiencies, and puts forward reasonable countermeasures and suggestions: strengthening the curriculum design and improving the teaching strategy; Strengthening the construction of teachers; Improve and train students’ learning ability; Improve the construction of practical training facilities and other countermeasures to improve the comprehensive quality of civil engineering students in Higher Vocational Colleges and better adapt to the development of society.
